When we think about water we rarely think how much it affects our bodily functions. This clear liquid is vital to us. Our body is approximately 65% water. We need to drink water daily just to replenish that which we naturally lose daily every time we sweat, go to the bathroom or even when we breathe. We need water for digestion and removal of waste which are pretty important for our body to function optimally aka us having a healthy body = good life. Nutrients need us to remove as much waste as possible in order for them to have room to come in and nurture all of our cells. There are approximately 37 trillion cells in the average human body. Thats a lot of cells! So the more we sweat and pee, the more toxins we are getting rid of and the more room we give nutrients to come in and do their job.

Sassy Strawberry

1 cup  organic strawberries
1 cup fresh squeezed OJ
1 tbsp collagen hydrolysate 
1/2 tsp organic vinegar cider
2 CoQ10 capsules (opened, just the powder) 
1 tbsp organic Red Maca powder
1 tsp organic vanilla bean powder 
1 tsp of vitamin B complex
1 cup of Perrier Jouet Champagne
1/2 cup of Ice 

Put all the Ingredients in your blender (except the champagne) and blend in the lowest speed until all ingredients are mixed well and ice is crushed.   Add champagne, and pulse a couple of times and ENJOY!!

Delicious Blueberry Pancake

Whole wheat Blueberry pancake 

1/2 cup  whole wheat flour

1/2 tablespoon butter

2 cups  water

1 free range organic egg

1 cup blueberries

 

Mix flour,  water, butter and egg  until desired consistency,  amount of water may vary and if you prefer you may substitute water for milk. Add blueberries.   

Heat pan  evenly add butter add batter medium heat,  watch your pancake  and when ready flip to other side,  when ready place on plate with organic maple syrup,   add more blueberries (to taste) and add banana.   

ENJOY!!

Holiday Stress

Its unbelievable, the holiday season is upon us, and as we move from our over stuffed belly's from our latest Thanksgiving to the up and coming Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, and New Years, its undeniable that our feelings for self preservation arise, we fear we could falter, and mess things up, by over eating, or drinking, or maybe we forget to get a present, or just seem to be running around trying to get that someone special exactly what they want.

Work! Ugh!  or AWESOME!  if you love what you do, that is.  I have pursued many different careers in my life so  I totally get the difference of how it feels when you are just barely making it on time to the job that allows you to pay the bills vs. I cannot believe how time flew today,  and you are still working hard but its such a great feeling when you are feeling happy at work.
